If only you're with us, oh beloved one

Most of us had wished that we were ones who had been with the Prophet(saw). But,what if he(saw) comes and live with us for a day, would he (saw) be proud with us?

Our last day in Dermatological Posting.

A little muhasabah:

Had been referring to many books and doctors in regards to the skin.

But what has Allah said in the Qur'an regarding skin?

There are many verses stating the word 'skin' referring to this very own largest organ of ours (which is our amanah)

And this is one of it:

"Allah telah menurunkan perkataan yang paling baik (yaitu) Al-Quran yang serupa (ayat-ayatnya) lagi berulang-ulang, gementar keranya kulit orang-orang yang takut akan Tuhannya, kemudian menjadi tenang kulit dan hati mereka ketika mengingati Allah, dengan kitab itu Dia memberi ptunjuk kepada siapa yang Dia kehendaki. Dan barang siapa dibiarkan sesat oleh Allah, makatidak seorang pun yang dapat memberi petunjuk." (Az-Zumar, 39:23)

May we all be included in those whose skin shivers when the Qur'an is read to us, and whose skin and hearts calms with remembering Him. Ameen.

After what to me seemed a hard day, it was rewarding when I got to play ping2 with my friend, TWICE!!!
Well, i think that's what happen when you're a medical student, you appreciate every little not-from-medicine thing.

We actually planned to go for swimming, but when we went to the sport's complex at 9pm, it was closed.So that's why we did another game of ping2.

Which to me is unfair, because the facility was made for students. Just because the semester students are taking their leave, we (the medical and dental students) who are not on holidays, could not go use the sports complex from 8-10pm (which is the USUAL opening times during weekdays). Are we not students too?  hmph, anyways, they had already voice this out to the student's council. hoping that something is being done, inshaAllah.

Allahumma yusahhil. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah, given this few minutes to update myself of myself..muhasabah..insyaAllah..

this is a quote i'd like to share..i found tthis from a friend's status, but could not recall where it came from, whether it's from the hadith or the ulama's quotations.

         "It is better to sit alone than in company with the bad; and it is better to sit with the good than alone. And it is better to speak words to a speaker of knowledge than to remain silent; and silence is better than bad words"


This quote is not meant to degrade or de-level anyone. but my strength when I am alone and failed to bring the group I am with to a better conversation. Allahumma yusahhil.

sometimes, it's warm. just yesterday, when i woke up in the morning, and the house was still quiet. nenek just sat beside me and told me the stories of her life. as she gets on with her story, and i just listen, i realized that, for a moment, she isn't getting herself tired, but still content. she suddenly forgets about the things that would usually lead her to yell. perhaps it's that easy, i said at the back of my mind.

from her stories, i learnt about adults and us. how much we differ. how much time has changed. and at that moment i could see the reasons of why sometimes she insists of something so much. why most adults would do that. like someone with OCD would. honestly, i'm one who is allergic to OCD people ( you can ask my friends..) but what i also realized, there's so much love and kindness behind everything. that she really didn't like to yell. that she also likes for things to be quiet.

life isn't long. people say, age eats you away. it's okay to lose to them sometimes, before you lose them forever. you might think that maybe they'll lose you forever first, but so what, in the end, it's not their gain, it's yours. do you think that every sacrifices you made is for them? no. it's for yourself. as mom said it. "jangan ingat bila kita buat baik kat orang, itu untuk orang. tak, sebenarnya untuk kita." because in the end, we are the ones to collect the fruits in akhirah. sometimes, you have to have patience. and for quite a bad-tempered girl like me, it's really a test. and i would have to repat to myself, "waktu anis kecik2 dulu sp yg jage?sape yg kne jage anis waktu baba n mama g kje?nenek..."

so, this is for nobody else, but me. a reminder for myself. a friend said " the only person i have to be better than, is the person i was yesterday" ^_^
